Psychological counselling
During their time at university students can experience various problems such as anxiety and stress before exams, isolation, and personal crises. International students may have difficulties adapting to life in Germany. The university provides counselling services for this type of difficulty, and you may contact one of the people below for an appointment:

Kreisverwaltungsreferat (Local government offices)
The Kreisverwaltungsreferat is the branch of local government responsible for many aspects of life in Munich such as passports, driver’s licenses, registering a car, and residence permits for foreign nationals.

The Munich Student Union is an organisation that provides services to students at all Munich institutions of higher learning, including maintaining halls of residence and canteens. They can help with your search for accommodation, for example, and publish a useful fold-out guide called the "Wegweiser" with maps of the city and the public transportation network. They also run a crisis hotline at +49 89 3571 3571 on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
